First Day of School Jitters...

Tomorrow is the first day of Fall 2009 semester and I must say I am a bit more nervous for this one than I have been in the past. I feel so mentally and physically unprepared but then I go through the list of things that I need and I have every box checked...so why so jittery?

I think that this year is so different from the last because it may be my last Fall semester at State-God willing. I abruptly made the decision this summer to attempt to graduate in 3 years from a Cal State (this tid bit is key because its nearly impossible to do so.) As corny as it sounds I know that if I put my mind to it then I can accomplish anything, including graduating college in 3 years! I am also a bit more nervous for this year because I am starting all of my major classes which is exciting yet very surreal. I guess it just really hit me today that I am almost done with my undergraduate degree and then its on to bigger, better, and brighter things!

For all of my peers out there who go to San Fancisco State I wish you well while you are searching to fill your schedule tomorrow on the first day of school!

P.S. I hope that you all took noted the high content of GATOR spirit in this post complete with the mascot AND the imfamous purple and gold.

IKEA!! (yes the all caps are neccessary)

So today has been a BIG day, which can only mean one thing and one thing only...I took my first trip to IKEA today! After hours of getting lost of future furniture possibilities my Smom (Small Mom) and I got down to business and found me some furniture! I found a dresser, a bookcase, and a night stand-all at a resonable price! I am so excited to put all of it together and decorate my new room for the new school year and for the new me!!

Now if only these directions made sense....?

The Heart of the Matter

Hello All!

So it has been awhile since my last update but I am back after some reflection and ready to get this show on the road. I have been listening to Indie. Arie, 'The Heart of the Matter"- for all of you Sex and the City fans can I get a woot woot! Anyways I absolutely love this song because it talks about forgiveness. I have had a recent falling out with someone who I cared deeply for and it is a struggle for me because of the circumstances in which our relationship ended. I personally don't like to go to bed angry every night at anyone-as Friend says, 'Never go to bed angry, you never know when you will get to see them again.' People have told me that its okay to be mad but I personally think that being mad at someone is pointless...if you are truely mad at a person why waste any of your emotion and time on them, they don't deserve all of the attention. I just dont see any sense in it and therefore I have been working on forgiveness...
